We planned at trip to Silverton Mountain and San Juan Powder Cats to check out the area. We had such an awsome trip on the powder cats last Thursday. Bob and Skip were our guides, and we skied knee and lower to mid thigh deep powder almost every run. This was my best ski day ever. Though I have gone on another cat skiing trip, skied here in Colorado almost everwhere for years as well as most areas in Lake Tahoe, I would say without equivocation that there was no comparison. The terrain, ambiance and snow on this trip was out of the world. Our group has decided to make this an annual event. Thanks for the great day, Bob and Skippy. The One Tree run and the steep trees were the highlight as was watching Bob ski off a big rock- a true huckster.
